Who is Barry Soetoro? This is Barrack H Obama’s real name, as recorded in the school roll book in Indonesia where he spent the early years of his youth. What you see is not what your get.

Similarly, the Health Bill that he has passed through the legislature contains more than meets the eye. Rather than a bill, it’s a raft of bills, and in amongst it all is a Mickey Finn.

This is the establishing of a Ready Reserve Corps. Now, we knew about the Obama youth corps that he promised during the election. Comparisons were immediately drawn with the brown shirted Hitler Youth movement. What is of great concern is the formation of a similar reserve corps within the health services. This is, in effect, a presidential private army under his direct control. It is, of course, couched in terms of responding effectively to natural disasters, emergencies and the like. However, it could be used to bypass the moral filter of the public doctors and nurses who might not agree that mandatory mass vaccination programs are a good thing. They might also question the enforced quarantine of people with specific diseases like swine flu. A private army can ensure that unpopular policy is executed despite general resistance.

If this measure is so important it could easily be achieved by equipping the existing private system without the need for a special corp swearing allegiance to the President. On the other hand, who was aware of these provisions within the bill? If the public were informed, would they have approved of such provisions? Why the need to slip this in under the radar?

There will likely be provisions for a national health ID card. No doubt this will be used to make the whole new system work efficiently, but it could also be used to enable the switching off your entitlement to services, effectively declaring you a non-person. This is a big noose around the collective necks of the American people, but I guess it’s no worse than the Medicare card in Australia.

SEC. 430. ESTABLISHING A READY RESERVE CORPS.
Section 203 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 204) is amended to read as follows:
SEC. 203. COMMISSIONED CORPS AND READY RESERVE CORPS.
(a) ESTABLISHMENT.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—There shall be in the Service a commissioned Regular Corps and a Ready Reserve Corps for service in time of national emergency.
(2) REQUIREMENT.—All commissioned officers shall be citizens of the United States and shall be appointed without regard to the civil-service laws and compensated without regard to the Classification Act of 1923, as amended.
(3) APPOINTMENT.—Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the President and commissioned officers of the Regular Corps shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
(4) ACTIVE DUTY.—Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall at all times be subject to call to active duty by the Surgeon General, including active duty for the purpose of training.
(5) WARRANT OFFICERS.—Warrant officers may be appointed to the Service for the purpose of providing support to the health and delivery systems maintained by the Service and any warrant officer appointed to the Service shall be considered for purposes of this Act and title 37, United States Code, to be a commissioned officer within the Commissioned Corps of the Service.
(b) ASSIMILATING RESERVE CORP OFFICERS INTO THE REGULAR CORPS.—Effective on the date of enactment of the Affordable Health Choices Act, all individuals classified as officers in the Reserve Corps under this section (as such section existed on the day before the date of enactment of such Act) and serving on active duty shall be deemed to be commissioned officers of the Regular Corps.
(c) PURPOSE AND USE OF READY RESERVE.—
(1) PURPOSE.—The purpose of the Ready Reserve Corps is to fulfill the need to have additional Commissioned Corps personnel available on short notice (similar to the uniformed service’s reserve program) to assist regular Commissioned Corps personnel to meet both routine public health and emergency response missions.
(2) USES.—The Ready Reserve Corps shall—
(A) participate in routine training to meet the general and specific needs of the Commissioned Corps;
(B) be available and ready for involuntary calls to active duty during national emergencies and public health crises, similar to the uniformed service reserve personnel;
(C) be available for backfilling critical positions left vacant during deployment of active duty Commissioned Corps members, as well as for deployment to respond to public health emergencies, both foreign and domestic; and
(D) be available for service assignment in isolated, hardship, and medically underserved communities (as defined in section 399SS) to improve access to health services.
(d) FUNDING.—For the purpose of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Commissioned Corps under this section, there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to the Office of the Surgeon General for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014. Funds appropriated under this subsection shall be used for recruitment and training of Commissioned Corps Officers.

The rising cost of power to the people

Be prepared to pay up to 64% more for your electricity by 2013. This is what we are being told to accept. Have you understood that? If you pay $1000 per year for your power in 2010, in 3 years time that will be $1640. Why? The real reason is to pay for Kevin Rudd's commitments to the global carbon trading scheme. This is in spite of the failure of Copenhagen to achieve any consensus on how any of this will work. This is despite the recent revelations of "Climategate" that have thrown the scientific evidence for global warming into doubt. So we are being asked to pay all this money to a faceless offshore organisation.

Australians were some of the first in the international community to acknowledge that there is a debate to be had over the reality of global warming. Malcolm Turnbull essentially lost the leadership of the Liberal party because there are too many party members who doubt global warming. When Lord Monckton came to Australia in January he addressed full houses paying $20 per head all over the country to hear his message about the global warming scam.

Note that since the meltdown at Copenhagen the reason being given to justify the price increase in NSW is we have to replace all the power poles because they're dodgy. Really?

So why is there no reaction to the threat of rising electricity prices? The way these things go, people won't notice until they get their next bill showing the first increase of 7% this April. This will no doubt create much distress in the community. Many families are already just making ends meet as it is. This cost increase will tip the balance for many. And for what? A scam, a rip off, a tax on breathing. And who gets the money? Ask Al Gore, he has financial interests in this whole carbon trading scheme.

The time to object is now. Don't wait till the horror invoices start rolling in. That will be too late. Call, write to, email your local member and protest loudly.

Christians & Truthers

So what's the difference between Christians and (9/11)Truthers? Well, as far as I can see, not much. In fact, you could say that the experience of converting to Christianity and becoming a Truther is similar. Christians talk of being “born again” whilst Truthers speak of “waking up”. Both experience a transformational shift in world view. Both belief systems place emphasis on seeking the “truth”. The search for the truth involves the intellect and takes effort to sift through the disinformation and distractions. One searches for evidence in written records, eye-witness accounts, scientific inquiry and history. Heroes and villains are identified for commendation or condemnation. Either system will propel the adherent to action of some kind in the world around him or her.

You can go on for years searching for information but there comes a time when you have to pin your colours to the mast and commit to adopting or rejecting either view. The price of commitment is often division in the family, loss of friendships and becoming the target of ridicule and labelling like “religious fanatic” or “conspiracy nut”. It is not a stance that one takes lightly.

If Christians and Truthers have so much in common, you would think that Christians would be sympathetic to Truthers. Remember, to the non-believer, religion looks like conspiracy theory. Christians, more than anyone else, should know what it is like to commit to a world view that runs against the current of the generally accepted, to go as a sheep amongst the wolves. You would think...

Over this last week I have started to frequent a Christian discussion forum site with the aim of gauging the current thoughts and attitudes of Christians to the New World Order and 9/11 etc and to foster debate and try “waking up” some Christians . Well, how illuminating. Over several threads about 9/11, NWO, Bush and Obama, it became clear that almost all the posters were adherents of the mainstream media propaganda and anything to the contrary was dismissed outright as “not another truther/conspiracy nut!”. There was no debate, no examination of the evidence and only the most feeble attempts to address any issue by parroting the official story. I was surprised and saddened.

I now have a better appreciation for the power of media to feed us with a contrived reality and the ease at which it is swallowed, regardless of one's belief in Christ. Jesus won the battle for our souls on Calvery, and we are filled with Spirit when first we believe. However, our minds can remain locked in this matrix like world, totally unregenerate. Yes, our moral minds are pulled out of the gutter by the Spirit, but our perception of the physical world goes on largely unchanged. To push the analogy, it's possible to be born again but to remain sound asleep.

We have a responsibility to have an accurate and reliable understanding of the world to be able to effectively operate in it for whatever mission God has placed us here for. Does not a military strategist gather as much intelligence as he can on the enemy before planning for battle? This post WW2 generation has quickly forgotten how bad government can get when only a small but influential element can steer the state into satanic mayhem. Why should our western governments be immune?

Anyway, why not try spending less time hanging around www.infowars.com where we are preaching to the converted and visit some mainstream forums. You might find this more palatable than going down to the mall and handing out 9/11 flyers!

The Big Lie

Looks like Iran's President Ahmadinejad has been spending too much time listening to 9/11 Truthers and Alex Jones. He has recently made comments that he didn't buy the official story about 9/11 and that it was a "big lie" that was used by the US as an excuse for a war on terror.

"September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by state TV. He called the attacks a "complicated intelligence scenario and act."

It doesn't prove anything, but it's a fascinating comment to be made by a leader on the world stage.

Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport!

Here's a good Aussie story.

In 1957 Rolf Harris sung about a dying stockman getting his affairs in order before he shuffles off and one of his concerns was to ensure that his kangaroo was immobilised with rope. I don't know why this was important to the old guy, but he would have died peacefully knowing he didn't have to tie it down, just let it be fluoridated to death instead.

It is stunning that the ABC story fails to recognise that fluoride is put in the drinking water of human beings and that this might be of some concern to those of us who are forced to drink it.

Why is our water medicated with fluoride? Why would the government care so much about supposedly preventing tooth decay when they show so little support for public dental programs? Our pensioners end up pulling their own teeth with pliers because they can no longer bear the pain on the long waiting list for public dental care. The following video makes the point that the initial reason for fluoridating water supplies was actually to provide an inexpensive way for industry to dispose of fluoride waste.

Can it get worse, yes it can. The Nazi chemists worked out that the toxic effects of fluoride was a way of controlling large populations conveniently by effecting sterility levels in females and dumbing down of the masses to become passively compliant and manageable. This was used to great effect in the Nazi prison camps to keep the Jews sedate and compliant.

Fluoride is a poison and has no place in our water supply and there is no demonstrable benefit for adding it to our most precious resource. Campaign your local member for the removal of fluoride from our water. Get a water filter system that will remove fluoride (not all do). Use fluoride free toothpaste (try a health food store). Grants do an inexpensive toothpaste that's widely available in Australia.

When you think about it, there is nothing more important to your physical existance than your water supply. Beyond that, there's nothing more important than your supply of "Living Water".

My Name is Khan

One of the many interests I have is watching Bollywood movies. Yesterday, I watched “My Name is Khan” starring Sharukh Khan. Anyone familiar with this genre knows that Sharukh is a mega star. He is also the same man who is currently in the news for being naked body scanned in London then autographing printouts for staff. See my earlier post. Looking at the timing of this event coinciding with the release of the movie, I now suspect that it was a clever publicity stunt. Nevertheless, it still highlights the concerns of allowing the government to use such devices on the people.

From the outset, let me say it's a great flick. It has most of the things you would get in a typical Bollywood movie. It's long by western standards at over 2 and a half hours long, but Bollywoods usually go up to 3 hours. It's an epic. It's an emotional rollercoaster. It's got singing and dancing (in small doses). It's got high drama. It's got Sharukh Khan.

The story is based on a man with Aspergers Syndrome (autistic spectrum disorder) who finds himself in the post 9/11 world being treated like a terrorist because he's brown and he's a muslim. In reality he's just a guy with a disability who only sees the world having two types of people, those who do good and those who do bad. Khan, as the hero, is on the good side, of course.

Whilst I sat and watched, I knew the audience was watching this story on one level, getting angry with the fundamentalist muslims who supposedly did 9/11 and thus polarizing the world against Islam and Rizvan Khan and his family. However, I reacted differently. I was angry from the beginning, because I knew that his disability could well have come from mercury poisoning in vaccines. Then I found myself angry by the paranoia shown by the airport security goons to Khan because of his colour, his autistic mannerisms and because his name is Khan. Why not search guys with names like Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeld? They might actually find something.

I surprised myself when I saw scenes of 9/11 unfolding, the shock and horror on the faces of all who turned on the TV. I thought that as I have watched and studied so much about this day I would watch this scene like a dispassionate documentary. I didn't. It was deeply emotional. Anyway, you know how the story goes. The people of America are instantly polarized, white vs arabic/Indian, and former friends become enemies and the world lives in fabricated fear of Al Qaeda.

One question that is often asked, if 9/11 was an inside job, a false flag operation, how could the perpetrators organise to have so many innocent people killed and live with themselves afterwards? I now pose another question. How could anyone deliberately put a knife through the heart of an entire nation and kill its soul? Not only was this polarization an effect of 9/11, it was deliberately intended as a primary objective. The Bush administration needed a “catalysing event like a new Pearl Harbor” to create public support for a “war on terror” to have an excuse to invade and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the agenda for US global dominance.

I watched Khan make attempts to meet George W to tell him “My name is Khan and I'm not a terrorist”. Then I thought, he'd probably reply “Your name is can? Can of what? Can of beans?! Ha ha ha!” .

Then I see Khan attempting to meet Obama. Then in my script Obama would say “Yeah Mr Khan, I know you're not a terrorist, but I do know who is. Unfortunately, I have to protect them by never acknowledging the mounting evidence, even when presented by stars like Charlie Sheen. Despite the peer reviewed studies finding unexploded thermitic material in the dust samples of 9/11 and the 1000 engineers and architects demanding a new and open inquiry into 9/11, I have to maintain this facade of ignorance and let sleeping dogs lie”.

My Name is Khan continues the trend set by Bride & Prejudice and Slumdog Millionaire which repackaged Bollywood fare for the western palate. It's got sub-titles so don't forget your glasses. I recommend you don't go the large size drink from the candy bar. You'll be busting your bladder by the end because you won't want to duck out to the john incase you miss something.

Highly recommended.

"Be more positive!"

Some people say to me, I should be more positive. “End your posts with something uplifting”.

Why?

Why should I do that? Why would you even suggest that? Are you so conditioned by the Hollywood movie formula that prescribes a guaranteed happy ending? The guy gets the girl, they walk off into the sunset and live happily ever after.

Perhaps you know too well you are living in a crooked world but you would rather go on living in self denial because that's easier to accommodate. “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies” sang Fleetwood Mac.

Maybe you're in that group of believers that says “I'm a believer, God's in control, she'll be right mate”, then you go back to your Facespace page or the sportspage in the back of the Telegraph (don't distract me whilst I'm being distracted).

How about the “Jesus is returning soon, I'll just let him sort it out” rapture-ready worldview? What a cop-out.

On the other hand, could it be that your faith is so weak that you can't be left alone with a problem of evil that I present to you? Do you feel powerless to respond? God couldn't possibly want to involve you, yes you, in the establishment of his kingdom. He wouldn't equip you or give you the resources or skills to take the fight to the lord of this world? If you feel powerless in the face of evil then you've got some fundamental limitations in your Christianity and understanding of the Kingdom. It's like you've got the demo version of the game and you wonder why it your experience isn't the same as the paid-for/registered version.

Yes, as Christians and believers we know we are on the winning side of human history. Jesus will return one day to put the demons in the pit and God's will shall be done on earth as in heaven. Yes, there is a happy ending, but folks, we're not there yet. We are still in the final fight scene where Luke Skywalker is fighting to the death with Darth Vadar. There is a battle being waged between God vs Devil, good vs evil, truth vs lies, freedom vs slavery, life vs death. The thing is, we are not watching a video. Life on Earth is a David Attenborough series you can hire from Blockbuster, but the real Life on Earth is a live performance. You, my friend, are in the cast and you have some lines to deliver.

Again, just imagine if you took Jesus aside during one of his sermons... “JC, you really should be more positive, you can't talk about Hell and judgement like that, it's a conversation killer”. What if you were to admonish Daniel for depressing people with his prophecies of doom? I'm sure he would say something like “Hey buddy, I'm just the messenger.”

Like many of us “watchmen”, we simply stand at the parapets and call it as we see it. We are staring at the horizon though a looking glass, trying to focus on what we see heading our way. An early warning system, so to speak. If there's a threat, we warn. If there is an obvious line of action to be taken, we can recommend that you take that action. If there's a deception being peddled we try to shine the light of truth. However, we don't have all the answers and nor should we. Someone else out there may be better equipped to give the better solution or response.

At the end of the day, I'm just a $10 smoke detector that's smelling smoke and sounding the alarm. You can choose to lie in bed because you'd rather go on sleeping. You can fob yourself off by thinking it's just a false alarm. You could wait for Jesus to attend to it. You can even wait for the battery to go flat. Alternatively, you could do what your duty demands of you and get up and check for yourself whether or not your house is really on fire and you need to take action.

Just don't ask me to "be positive" if I can see your butt's on fire :o)
